A screening is a quick, easy way to get a current picture of your health and pinpoint health issues before they become detrimental. A healthcare professional collects your height, weight and waist measurements as well as your blood pressure. Then a sample of your blood is drawn using the finger stick method, to measure your cholesterol, triglycerides and glucose levels.
